Melissa Hosten, co-director of the Center for Recruitment and Retention (CRR) of mathematics teachers has received the 2023 Leadershp Award from the Arizona Mathematics Leaders (AML). The award honors her "contributions to the AZ mathematics community through advocacy, mentorship, and leadership."
Professor Nick Ercolani will receive the 2022 College of Science Distinguished Student Mentoring Award in recognition of his long record of excellent mentoring of students and postdocs. He will be recognized at the upcoming CoS Faculty Reception.
